Part # CRBNB-GB-351
*** The FEZ Cerbuino Bee has reached it's End-of-Life. It is now only available through special orders. ***
The FEZ Cerbuino Bee is a Arduino-compatible .NET Gadgeteer mainboard running .NET Micro Framework, which enables users to program the board from Microsoft's Visual Studio using C# or Visual Basic, allowing developers to take advantage of the extensive built-in libraries for networking, file systems, graphical interfaces and peripherals. Click on the following links to learn more about the technology and what value is added by GHI Electronics to .NET Micro Framework and .NET Gadgeteer.
The XBee socket automatically brings all sorts of wireless options to the table, including WiFi and ZigBee. Note that there is a size restriction on the physical size of the XBee modules that can be used. Whip antenna, chip antenna, UFL antenna fit well, but the ones with the RPSMA connector do not. Also plan your XBee selection well if you are planning on using full-sized shields.
Ethernet support is available through the Ethernet ENC28 Module with WiFi support available through the XBee adapter.
Ethernet support is available through Ethernet ENC28 Module. WiFi support is available through XBee adapter.
The needed software components and other common resources, for developing using the .NET Micro framework, are found on the NETMF Support page.
